my story.

Self-development has been a motivation for me for as long as I can remember. I realized early in life that self-insight is what drives real growth.

To turn this interest into a profession, I studied Human Resource Management with a focus on Organizational Psychology. I worked my way up within Recruitment and found real joy in helping people move forward in their careers, something that later turned out to be what my "why" is all about.

When I became responsible for my own team, I dived even deeper into leadership, especially around motivation. I wanted to lead with a coaching style, but I did not yet know how.

My ambition accelerated my career, and I became Head of Operations, part of the German management team for a successful Swedish HR consulting company. I loved the challenge of stepping out of my comfort zone every single day, even though that was not always easy.

As the pressure and stress started to build, I was lucky to have a manager who supported me in working with an external business coach. That was the first time I experienced how helpful and empowering coaching can truly be, and it also taught me how much stress can affect us, something I would return to years later.

Then came my two children, and I suddenly had to ask myself what my real priorities were. I still wanted a challenging, growing career, but I also wanted time for my family.

I realized I needed to get clear on what I really wanted. What gives me fulfillment in life? That question set me searching for my "why".

My interest in coaching had always been there. After seminars, workshops, and a lot of reading, I decided to work with a coach myself to help me find that answer.

It only took a few sessions to become clear: my "why" is development. Development of people, of processes, of organizations, and, not least, of myself.

Looking back, it is almost funny how obvious this now seems. But that is exactly what coaching is about: uncovering strengths and potential that are already there.

Today, beside my own coaching business, I also work as a consultant, coaching and developing people, businesses, and teams. It was actually in this role, quite recently, that I experienced even more of that pressure and stress firsthand and felt how much I needed real tools to deal with it, not just mentally, but physically too. That need led me to train in Somatic Stress Release (SSR) in 2025, and I now bring this experience into my work as well.
